Ventura Energy Partners was founded by a team of professionals with extensive experience in solar project development. Our journey began with a vision to make solar energy accessible and efficient. Over the years, we have established ourselves as a reliable partner in the solar industry, successfully completing numerous projects across the United States.

Clara Nagy McBane, P.E
CEO
Clara Nagy McBane is a seasoned executive in renewable energy, where she leads the development of and investment in solar and energy storage assets. Clara co-founded Ventura Energy Partners.
Clara has a proven track record of delivering sustainable energy projects tailored to meet the needs of utilities, companies, and communities. Prior to VEP, Clara founded Ventura Energy which continues to own and operate distributed-energy resource fleets. Clara's expertise spans all aspects of renewable energy project development, financing, ownership, and operation, ensuring successful and lasting renewable energy systems.
Outside of the renewable energy sector, Clara is deeply committed to helping create infrastructure solutions for disadvantaged communities. Her dedication to this grew through her work in delivering clean drinking water solutions for the Navajo Nation and disadvantaged residents in California's Central Valley.
Michael Falcone
Chair of the Board
Michael Falcone is a visionary leader in the renewable energy and sustainable development sectors. As the Chairman of the Board at Ventura Energy Partners, he co-founded the company to focus on developing mid-sized distributed renewable energy infrastructure projects. With a commitment to driving positive change, Michael plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the company.

Prior to his role at Ventura Energy Partners, Michael co-founded TerraVerde Energy Holdings and continues to serve as a Co-Founder and Board Member. Through his leadership, TerraVerde has become a prominent player in the renewable energy industry, driving growth and innovation across its operations in Austin, San Francisco, and Sofia (Bulgaria).

Michael's dedication to sustainable development extends beyond the energy sector. He served as a Director for Transcend Residential Property Fund in South Africa, where he provided strategic guidance to enhance the fund's investment objectives. Additionally, as the Executive Chairman of International Housing Solutions (IHS), he co-founded the company and led its expansion into new markets, emphasizing green affordable housing solutions across Africa.

With a proven track record of leadership, Michael previously served as Chairman and CEO of MMA Capital Holdings, Inc. His strategic vision and strong leadership were instrumental in guiding the company's operations and driving successful outcomes, including the sale of the company.

Clayton Pierce
Vice President
Clayton Pierce is the Vice President at Ventura Energy Partners, where he has been leading efforts in the renewable energy sector since February 2024. Previously, he served as a Vice President at Terraverde Energy Capital, and an M&A Manager at Trina Solar. With a robust background in energy markets, he worked at Enel X and EnerNOC, specializing in demand response and energy market operations. His expertise spans across project management, operational delivery, and strategic investments, driving growth and innovation in sustainable energy solutions.
